Hi! My name is Simran Kalia, the founder of TheArtofSpelling, and a former spelling bee competitor from Manalapan, New Jersey. I have been winning the school championship title for four consecutive years in a row from elementary school to middle school. This experience has truly helped me understand what it takes to excel. From studying word etymologies to staying calm under pressure, I’ve walked the path – and now I’m here to help guide yours.

Let me tell you a bit about myself!

I am currently an 8th grader at Manalapan – Englishtown Middle School and a soon-to-be freshman at the Monmouth County Academy of Allied Health and Science. I have a wide range of achievements from placing 1st place at the Jersey Shore Science fair, 1st place in the NJAGC Art Contest, the Mixit-Kohlhaas Research Award, and much more! But, academics is not all of what I am about. I play sports, participate in community service activities, and love to go the beach.
